Button Button Who's Got The Button? Crafts With Buttons

I love the delicate look and vintage feel of mother of pearl buttons. I especially like seeing them used in a way that is different than their intended purpose...

Check out these great uses for old buttons and maybe you'll
be inspired to create your own button masterpiece!

  4. Beautiful post and beautiful buttons! I would definitely wear those hair clips. How I wish I had that oldtime gumball machine in my soon to be craft room! It would be a toss up between filling it with old buttons or M&M's!

  5. Thank you for showcasing my button star! This is one of my most "famous" stars and has literally made its way around the world! :) I love when I come across it on other blogs...Anne Lory's is a friend of mine and has showcased two of my button stars.
Have a wonderful day and thank you!

  9. Love the button art. I recently found a huge stash of buttons in my mother's things after she passed. She use to tell me about the buttons my grandmother and great grandmother use to cut off their clothing when it was worn out. I had no idea just how many buttons were waiting for me to work with until I pulled the heavy tin box out of a cabinet!

I'm still going through mom's stuff and as I do I look for ways to re-purpose the things I find. Somehow it makes me feel closer to her.
