I've always loved the look of vintage wood shutters on a home, they have such a quaint, old world feel. Now you can take that look and move it from outside, to inside your home by upcycling old shutters into new home decor.
Check out these creative new looks gleaned from old salvaged shutters.

It is always cool to have old parts of a home turned into a room's accent. It creates a unique character and brings out the personal style of the home owner. Awesome post, Laura!
ReplyDeleteWow, love these pics! the dresser with shutter and shutter side table are amazing!!!
ReplyDeleteShutters are such wonderful raw materials for a recycling project. One time, I found some old shutters in my grandma’s attic and I turned them into doors for her kitchen and entrance to her garden. The homey effect is just wonderful! And yeah, those ceiling shutters are pure genius!
